Meet Our Mother & Daughter Team

Lainie Belcastro holds many titles in the arts, but her most treasured title is Mom to her daughter, Nika. 

 

Lainie and her daughter created the trademarked storytellers, Mrs. Terra Cotta Pots & Twig® who “Planted Dreams for Children” via their live and televised shows, while helping heal little hearts through their Patching Hearts™ programs.

 

Inspired by the children they entertained in hospice, their first children’s book, Harriet’s Heartbroken Heart, was published worldwide by Guardian Angel Publishing.

 

Their programs were embraced throughout NY, NJ and PA via health networks, hospice organizations, corporations, schools, daycare centers, libraries, and various associations.  

 

As a published author, many of her stories can be found in the inspirational Chicken Soup for the Soul books and other publishing venues.  She is recognized as a poet for children and adults, focusing on women’s emotional journeys as well as her own. She also was an opinion contributor for major papers in the Northeast. 

 

Lainie has also performed as a contemporary, musical theatre and classical vocalist while contributing over 30 years in a corporate environment. 

 

She is the recipient of numerous awards, recognitions and endorsements. She is a motivational speaker, encouraging audiences of all ages to keep the child in their hearts alive.
